Who builds the workflows at PwC?
The PwC advisors themselves, using the UNOY no-code designer. No separate IT department, no development tickets. Advisors see the subject-matter problem and build the solution directly.
What workflows typically run?
QA audits, compliance reviews, ESG reports, compliance documentation, remediation plans, structured report templates for regulated industries.
Who is accountable for the result?
The responsible PwC advisor, within the scope of their professional liability. UNOY provides the workspace. The subject-matter accountability rests with the advisor.
What client data is held on UNOY?
Only what is required for the respective workflow. Client separation per project, a record per workflow run, operation in data centres whose operators are certified to ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 42001.
Can this be applied to other consulting firms?
In principle yes, if advisers want to turn their own expertise into workflows. Whether it fits depends on the task, data and responsibilities.
What happens if PwC later switches platform or vendor?
The agreement defines which workflow definitions, data and records are provided or exported. Client data remains in PwC data residency.
