Why is pure AI not sufficient for knowledge work?

Pure AI systems produce inconsistent answers to the same question, hallucinate on facts, and have no knowledge of versioned standards. They require clear approvals wherever accountability is required. Pure rule-based systems are reliable but blind to unstructured language. UNOY combines both: rule-based workflows as the skeleton, AI in magic nodes and in the Workflow AI Agent, and skills and Know-Why as versioned knowledge.

What is the Workflow AI Agent?

A magic node element that can independently research the web, create documents, call sub-agents, read data, and deliver structured output for further processing in the workflow. This is where AI and rule-based processing are most deeply integrated.

What is the difference between interactive and headless workflows?

Interactive workflows have page nodes and are operated by the user via a URL, such as self-service forms or client portals. Headless workflows run without a UI in the background, triggered by incoming email, webhook, time trigger, or COIA function calling.

What does Know-Why record?

For each workflow, the Know-Why tab documents the standard and timestamp under which the workflow delivered its information or document, including interpretations, assumptions, and responsible parties. UNOY OS makes this audit trail a fixed component, because knowledge work without such a trail cannot be audited.

How is UNOY integrated with WKIS?

The UNOY platform is technically integrated with the WKIS of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. Businesses and members are identified via WKIS login. Workflows can be made available publicly or restricted to specific WKO member groups: 600,000 members, one single sign-on.

How does UNOY integrate with our existing software environment?

UNOY provides an open REST and GraphQL API. You can trigger workflows externally, read and write databases, query status, and use UNOY as an invisible workflow layer behind your own software. Standard connectors for M365, Google Workspace, Slack, S3, DocuSign, DATEV, and more are also available.
